A Sacred Walk

I knew the song
of life.
It rattled through
my brain
yet I in
strife
forgot the most
exquisite refrain.
Then one day
I appeared
reminding me
of how
to sing the
song within
the corridors
of life.

My heart remembered
all.
Awake it
sang to me
and tears ran
down my
face
washing me
in destiny.
I simply now
rely
on the way
the winds
direct,
the tune of
life alive and
I within
its wake.

No course to take.
No path to serve.
No reminiscent
tales to tell.
Simply I within myself
creating life
alive.
