Homeward Bound

I see within
my semblance
a picturesque
façade
that deprecates
the newness of
the day.
Deeper still,
I reunite
with kindled remnants of
desire
that seep
within to
oceans of
my name.

When will I
be
one with
the one
who woos me
to dissolve
to the
nothingness
surrounding
all of me?
Until the
day I long
to be destined to
expire,
I walk in
search of my
way back
home.
